The
whole territory of northern Sardinia was already populated by the
Nuragians, Etruscans and later by the Romans. Even today it is possible
to visit archeological excavations, testifying the strong
presence of these cultures. In the whole area in the north there are
Nuragican excavations such as the tombs of Li Lolghi and Li Muri
some nuraghes and the capanna delle riunioni at Luogosanto.

of sardinias best kept secrets is, to stay in an agriturismo.

food, which includes all the specialities of the sardinian and italian
region. Our chefs prepare for you the best specialties of regional and
Italian cuisine. The products served in our restaurant come from our
farm, meat, vegetables, cheese, honey, yoghurt ecc. and the typical italian

www.wikitravel.org - says:
Agritourism means travel organized
around farming, small-scale food production or animal
husbandry. Visiting a working farm or ranch for the purpose
of enjoyment and education are key parts of this often rural
experience. Farmer's markets, wine tourism, cider houses and
corn mazes all constitute examples of agritourism. Travelers
who participate in this type of vacation frequently desire
to see how food is grown and prepared or to learn how
animals are raised.
